My brother and long-time Fish Creek camper, Dan Connors, age 50, passed on in March 2008. Many of you may have met Dan over the 25 years he camped at Fish Creek Ponds with his spouse, KathyJo Beadle, and her family. Dan loved his boat and fishing Fish Creek and Upper Saranac. Dan and the Beadles crafted quite a campground, complete with full kitchen, horseshoes, bocci, and the occasional casino. I was able to join my brother on two occasions and greatly enjoyed the experience. The tradition continues without Dan, and he will be missed by all; and I'm sure he is still looking down on Fish Creek with a smile on his face.
