Mice Invasion 2020

Postby Lazjr » Mon Jul 27, 2020 10:04 am

FYI - if you're heading to FC this season bring some mouse traps and peanut butter. They are a huge problem this year. We've been going for decades and this is a first for us. We just got back from a 9 day trip and we got mice on day 4. ended up killing a total of 12 over the rest of the trip. Same thing happened to friends who had a Site 4

away from us. And another camper 13 sites away from us had the same problem and similar kill total. Also talked to the ice lady who said she had them in her cabin for the first time. I hope they're gone by next year.

In the same corner with you. Was at Nicks Lake the 13th thru the 24th and was hearing them at night behind the headboard of my 2018 cougar 29bhs. Thought I sealed off what the factory didn't and turned out the bottom of the nose cap was an open invitation to come in. Bought window spray foam and closed it off. Trapped 7 in the front storage compartment and thought I was the only one having the nightmare.

I’m on lots of camping groups. Everywhere across the ADKs there are tons of complaints about mice. You are not alone.
