People often post that they are releasing sites here or elsewhere. If you are going to book extra sites, at least cancelling as soon as possible gives others more change to book it themselves so kudos for that! It seems there are a lot of sites that just never get cancelled or unused days never get cancelled so many sites sit empty in prime season.

Always always cancel wayyyy before the trip dates to allow other people to grab em. Another tip for y’all that miss a booking window, go on 2-3 weeks after your window has passed and you’ll see a bunch of cancellations. Basically, people like me who cancel around the 18th day. After that it’s all about luck but if you check relatively often you’ll grab a cancellation before next summer.
