Re: Site 280

When they arrive they will not care less what equipment you are arriving with or your site length. The rating of 20ft is probably due to the entrance access from the road. You might find it tight getting in and have to work your way it but in all likelihood you should be fine. People do that all the...

Re: Mont Tremblant in Quebec

Tremblant is nice but has become over built in the last 10 years. It is a zoo during ski season!

Re: Reservation Issues

People often post that they are releasing sites here or elsewhere. If you are going to book extra sites, at least cancelling as soon as possible gives others more change to book it themselves so kudos for that! It seems there are a lot of sites that just never get cancelled or unused days never get ...

Re: Reservation Issues

From what I see and hear over recent years is that the popular parks like Fish Creek are always 100% booked and paid for. Its just that a lot of those paid for sites are empty because people never bother to cancel or arrive late/leave early. I'd never try to arrive as a walkup in the summer months l...

Re: Reservation Issues

You can reserve 2 sites but not at the same time and the total number of days during July + August can't exceed 14 days on the one account. If you are trying to book 2 sites at the same time then book the second site under the other person name. If you are perhaps a family and need two sites then bo...

Also I do a screen refresh on each device about 5 minutes beforehand on each device to ensure the session hasn't timed out.

Re: Reservation Issues

On all our devices I setup and then start clicking each 'I'm Not a Robot box (reCaptcha) at about 8:58:15. Timeout is 2 minutes. This gives me enough time to deal with image challenges if they appear, but is within the reCaptcha timeout.

Re: August 1-5, 2019

The drive from site 175 to the boat launch will take about 10 minutes. You’ll have to watch passing other vehicles where it gets narrow.

Re: August 1-5, 2019

Welcome new boater! Trim up from boat launch to 10ft or so past the buoy on the other side you of the bridge then good all the way to site 175. Avoid getting to close trimmed down past sites 66 to about site 90. Very shallow! We have had our dock setup on 170, 178 and 179 before. Should be fine on 1...

Re: August 1-5, 2019

Great report! Was there last in early/mid July. Heading back on Monday. As per other years didn't see any real change in the channel to Upper Saranac. I'm always trimmed up well so rarely rarely ever hit anything. We camp in many areas around the ponds and I would agree that some areas have more 'mu...

Re: 2019 Campfire Wood

For a volume purchase: If you are coming in from the south, I'd suggest John/George at the bottom of the hill just outside of Tupper (North end). Not sure how dry it is this year. There is another place coming in from the north before you get to Paul Smiths as well in Mccolloms (about 20 min north o...

Re: First timer

Welcome Kevin! There are no places to eat on any of the connected waterways. Site 175 works well for a boat. You cannot leave your vehicle and boat trailer at the boat launch. Ask a friend to help? You can watch sunsets right from the ponds (the narrows is a good spot) or head out onto Upper Saranac...
