The Rollins Pond Campground is the quiet alternative to Fish Creek as well as serving as the overflow area for Fish Creek. Sites tend to be spaced out more providing for more privacy and less noise. There is also less traffic up in Rollins. Many campers accustomed to a more serene camping experience will appreciate Rollins over its more lively sister, Fish Creek.

Rollins features 284 campsites, 226 are directly on the water.

Rollins accommodating all equipment from tents to 40ft RV's although it is more suited to trailers 30ft and under. Some sites are situated on hills above the shoreline.

Rollins is accessed by driving half way through sister campground, Fish Creek Pond.

The campground is open from mid May through Labour Day.

  1. Located north of Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Park of upstate NY
  2. 285 sites, 266 sites are reservable, 226 (80% ) are directly on the water
  3. one of the busiest of the DEC campgrounds, some fairly private sites
  4. less busy than neighbour Fish Creek Pond Campground but quite hilly, offers some sites that are private compared to Fish Creek as well
  5. offers an extensive network of interconnected ponds for paddling on various ponds that are mainly for non motorized craft only

View:
View looking south west across the south end of Rollins Pond. Gets a bit of a glimpse towards the narrows.
Additional Features
On the first peninsula beyond the bypass so traffic will be somewhat reduced, although the site is not as deep as others in this area. Easy to get into compared to some of the other sites in this area.
