Thought I'd post this here so others can enjoy this little gem we found a few years ago.

Food is delish! All fresh and as local as possible. This is NOT fast food, and so worth the wait. If you are in the area, plan a stop in. They have a mini putt up the top of the building so you can order your food, have a round, and come back down when it's ready.
Happy trails!

Had another delicious meal there on Saturday night.
Now I have to wait a whole year to go back again.
Their fish tacos are amazing!

Thanks we will definitely stop in next summer. We have been passing it for years and have never stopped to check it out. Always looking for a local place to eat dinner.

Have you tried Hohmeyere Lake Clear Lodge North about 10 minutes from FCP? See http://www.adirondackalps.com

Yes - many times. We have even stayed there. Very nice but we find the German menu not too exciting. The Left Bank Cafe in Saranac Lake has a very interesting menu and is a nice change of pace. The Downhill Grill in Saranac Lake is also worth trying.

We love the Moose Lodge right on Lake Placid for lunch. Desert up at Lake Placid Lodge (or lunch even). A bit farther drive from FCP, but worth it...

Not in Saranac but may want to give it a try. The Deli / Pub as you head north from Tupper lake at the bottom of the hill on the East side of the road. Had heard it was good so gave it a try and was delighted with the results.

Good to know! We looked at that place as we drove and wondered if it was any good. When it was just a farm market/deli, they had some good stuff there.
Also, the Little Italy in Saranac Lake now has a restaurant in Tupper. Right on Route 30 downtown just a couple of doors to the left of Stewarts. There's a little public parking lot across the street from it. Love them garlic knots!
Happy Camping!

Re: A great place to eat in Saranac Lake
Thanks for info on the Deli / Pub. We try and support as many businesses in Saranac and Tupper Lakes as possible. And Little Italy in Tupper is just as good as the one in Saranac. Sometimes you just need a good pizza! They have actually been there for several years.
