Is the park accessible during the off-season?

Postby d_s_144 » Wed Nov 15, 2017 11:56 am

Hi all:

Happy Holidays!

I was considering making a drive up to FC just to walk around for a few hours. I haven't tried to gain access during the late fall/winter months after camping has come to a close. I recall they used to allow hunters to access during the hunting season, but I don't know if that is still a policy they uphold. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance and have a great Holiday Season! Take care and see you next July!

You can visit the campground year round. There are often people hiking in the fall/winter. We visit several times in the off season to walk around or cross country ski. Road is plowed as far as the Rollins cutoff.

No camping though!

Enjoy!

Hey Dave:

I assumed you'd know the facts, I appreciate it. Thanks pal! Have a great Boxing Day up there in Canada, eh!

Derek
