214 it should work for them...a tree in the middle but they should be able to get their camper past it. The rest of us are scattered between the mid-180s to 218.

Too funny. We were supposed to try for 186 or 214. I won't feel bad then that we forgot about booking today, as a forum member got one of them

Can you make reservations for more then 14 cumulative days on reserve america under the same account? I have reservations for 11 days in July Can I make another reservation in August for 14 days or will it block me?Do you need multiple accounts? Doing this "power" reservation for the first time this year. I can't believe how fast our sites went clicked reserve these dates at exactly 9am gone every time. Got Site 209

I got 205 for the 5th, but it wasn't easy. I'll see you in August I guess!

I think you can only have 14 days total per account name from July through August.

I'll tell you, it has been extremely difficult to book for the past 5 or 6 years at FCP. I was spawned at the campground in 1969 (eew, I know. My parents love telling my friends that come with me to FCP the story...every year), and like a salmon, I have made the pilgrimage back up every year since my birth in 1970 (even during my military service). Mom and dad knew a good thing even back in the 60's and 70's. However, the last handful of years have been very taxing on my brain during booking week. We started trying to book in the first week of October this year, and just got 168 and 169 this afternoon. And, similar to a story I read earlier, I had a site selected at 9:00 a few weeks ago and then the website locked up. I called RA to verify that the site was being held by me for booking and they couldn't even tell me that. How crazy is that? RA is the provider, how can they not know who is holding a site? Seems odd to me. Then she told me to check in 90 minutes to 3 hours to see if has again become available. Yeah right, no shot. I remember in the old days that my mom and dad would book the next years reservations the night before we left FCP the current year. However, I always remember seeing available sites on the ponds back then, and I still saw a ton this year in July, but RA had only the A's and C's on the website.

I guess, all in all, I'll take the mental anguish of the RA policies. It's waaaaay better than not being at FCP during the summer. All is well that ends well. See you on the ponds next year. I have the 21' Nitro, white with blue stripes, 200 hp Mercury outboard. Sun (sometimes anyway) and fun, it doesn't get any better. Be safe, FCP friends, see you on the water in July 2013.

Oh yeah, I went back up in September this year, the place was a dream. However, the very motivated and well organized racoons had a great time cleaning me out of house and home. They got in the bed of my Ram 1500, opened my coolers and my totes and ate my Oscars bacon, all of my brownies and all of my cheeses. I hate loosing Oscars bacon. I chased them away, to no avail, and they came back as focused as ever. Darn things...at least they weren't bears.
